Family is Where the Heart is

Dr. Lisa Ayala joined the SCK Health Providers in October of 2021 and has been an integral part of our team. She has taken care of many patients from their first heartbeats in the womb, performing 38 deliveries since she arrived in Arkansas City. Patients immediately took to Dr. Ayala’s kind and calm demeanor as she walked with them through their healthcare journey.

Family is important to us at SCK Health, and moving closer to their Kansas family is next up for the Ayala’s. We are happy for them and the opportunity to connect closer to their loved ones.  Dr. Ayala stated, “Watching our son interact with his cousins has been an eye-opener, and we wish to continue to foster these relationships as they grow.”

Jeffrey Bowman, SCK Health CEO said of Ayala, “She has been a huge asset to our community and SCK Health. We are sad to see her leave us but wish her all the best as she moves closer to family.”

Dr. Ayala said in her resignation letter to the administration, “Working with the team at SCK Health has been a tremendous privilege. The providers and staff could not have been more supportive of a new doctor trying to spread her wings out of residency.” She continued, “As I continue my career, I will remain indebted to the experiences and training this position provided me. I wish SCK Health continued success.”

If you are a patient of Dr. Ayala, you will receive a letter in the mail with the details of the change within 60 days’ notice of her departure. This letter will list all of your provider options within the SCK Health System. We look forward to continuing to provide you with compassionate care close to home, for years to come.
