Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist at SCK Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care and rehabilitation services. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic exercises and activities, monitoring progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.

Duties Include:

  • Evaluates and implements patients physical therapy program, including all department modalities.
  • Maintains pertinent records for patient charts.
  • Instructs, assists, and supervises patients exercise programs.
  • Gait training with adaptive equipment and balance skills.
  • Efficient communication with customers on the phone and in person.
  • Personal computer skills, clerical skills, for data collection and basic budgetary awareness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy with at least a BS degree; Masters preferred.
  • License: Registered with the state of Kansas Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and address the physical and functional needs of patients.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality.
