Dr. Danielle Corbett joins SCK Health

SCK Health is thrilled to announce that Dr. Danielle Corbett will be joining our team of physicians at SCK Health Primary Care – Ark City. “At SCK Health we want to provide our community with healthcare options to cover all their healthcare needs. With the upcoming arrival of Dr. Corbett, we can do just that. Everyone at SCK Health is excited to add Dr. Corbett to our healthcare community!”, said Chief Clinical Officer, Whitney Gilliland.

A Kansas native, Dr. Corbett, is excited to return to South Central Kansas as it allows her to be closer to her family. “Being from Belle Plaine, I really wanted to go back to a rural community and practice a broad range of medicine,” she said, making Ark City the perfect landing spot.

Dr. Corbett graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Newman University before pursuing her MD at the KU School of Medicine in Wichita. She then completed her family medicine residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency in Salina.

From an early age, Dr. Corbett has been determined to become a doctor. With a deep interest in all aspects of medicine, she has found her true calling in family medicine. Dr. Corbett is dedicated to ensuring patient understanding and facilitating informed healthcare decisions. She takes great pleasure in providing her patients with all available options and actively involving them in their care. She believes it is essential for her patients to understand the reasons behind their care. While she holds a special passion for women’s health, Dr. Corbett takes pride in serving patients of all genders and from various stages of life.

When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Corbett enjoys spending time with her husband and children. They like going on walks and spending quality time at the lake, whether it’s fishing, boating, or swimming.

Dr. Corbett will start seeing patients at SCK Health Primary Care – Ark City on October 1st, 2024.
