SCK Health Announces Strategic Relocation of Radio Lane Clinic

In a decisive move to strengthen its financial foundation and ensure long-term sustainability, SCK Health has announced the upcoming relocation of its Radio Lane Clinic to the Patterson Parkway campus. This strategic consolidation, shared during an all-staff meeting on Tuesday by CEO Margaret Grismer, is part of a broader effort to streamline operations and reduce overhead costs.

The transition will take place in phases over the next 90 days, with a final vacancy date of September 28, 2025. Importantly, no layoffs are planned, and all employees and providers will be retained and relocated to the Patterson Parkway facility.

“This was not an easy decision,” said Grismer. “But it is a necessary one. Our Board of Trustees is committed to making proactive, responsible choices that will help secure the future of SCK Health and the care we provide to our community.”

The move follows the earlier consolidation of the Summit Clinic and is expected to significantly reduce the costs associated with maintaining multiple locations. For patients, the change will offer the added convenience of accessing all SCK Health services in one centralized location.

From a financial standpoint, fully utilizing Patterson Parkway campus is a key step toward stability. The property is on track to be paid off within the next 4 to 4.5 years, a milestone that will greatly enhance the hospital’s fiscal health and benefit the broader community.

As the nation awaits the outcome of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” currently under debate in the U.S. legislature—a bill that could have sweeping implications for rural healthcare—SCK Health remains committed to transparency and resilience.
